About BowlingCalc

BowlingCalc is an independent project for people who want to keep a game moving and understand the score.

We make free, fast tools for casual games and league preparation: a frame-by-frame scorer, a handicap calculator, and printable sheets. No account is required.

How the calculations work

The scorer follows standard ten-pin strike, spare and tenth-frame rules, checked against USBC references and independent test cases. It is not an official USBC product and is not affiliated with the United States Bowling Congress. League-specific handicap settings come from you.

Calculations run in your browser. Game links contain the names and rolls you enter, allowing you to save or share a scorecard without a game database. A URL opened or shared can reach the hosting provider or its recipient; avoid personal information you do not want in that link.

Help us keep it accurate

If something looks wrong, send the game link and the expected result through the contact page. Include the rule or sequence that reproduces the issue. Official league records and organizer decisions remain the source for competition results.
